I love our public library in here in Athens PA. I loved it from the first moment I saw it. An antique building made of strong stone run by even stronger people. It's beautifully kept and purposefully filled.
Just the other day I got a call from one of the many librarians who I dearly love. She said Tiffany, the head librarian, and director of the Spalding Memorial Library, has all the librarians calling their patrons to check on how they are and that they are doing well. How incredible! How inspiring! How absolutely, undeniably good! So on this sunny Friday, here's to the librarians and workers of the Spalding Memorial Library. Here's to sted conversation. I've had books I didn't even reserve pulled to the side waiting for me because they knew I'd want to read it. They just care and you can feel it.
